Other information

A refundable £100 deposit is required plus a £90 registration fee (unless fully funded where only a deposit is required). Late collections are charged at £15 per 15 minutes. There are no charges for bank holidays or nursery closures. The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, closing for 5 working days over the Christmas and New Year period.

Funding can be stretched over the 51 weeks of the year that the nursery is open. This means that you will receive funding for 11.18 hours per week (15 hours of funding) or 22.36 hours (30 hours of funding). Any additional sessions will be charged at the standard rate on a pro rata basis if necessary.

What is funded childcare?

Government-funded childcare provides financial assistance to families by subsidising nursery fees, supporting children’s early development. Beginning in September 2025, eligible working parents with children from nine months old up to school age may receive up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks each year. This initiative aims to make childcare more affordable and accessible, ensuring that all children benefit from high-quality early education within a safe and supportive setting.

How do I apply for funding?

Sign in or set up an account (to do this, you’ll need your Government Gateway user ID) at https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account.
Provide details for yourself, your partner, and your child.
Review the eligibility requirements and click “Apply”.
Wait to receive your code via email.
We’ll send you a funding form where you must enter your funding code. You must also provide your child’s birth certificate or passport and the NI number of the parent who is making the application.
You need to obtain your code before the academic term begins; application deadlines depend on your child’s eligibility date.
Applications open when your child is 23 weeks old, with funded hours starting the term after your child turns 9 months.

To keep your funded hours running smoothly, you’ll need to reconfirm your details every three months in your GOV.UK childcare account.

Fees include all meals, drinks, snacks and nappies.

We are a registered provider with Chester and Cheshire West Council Early Years and OFSTED which enables us to accept the childcare grant, offering funded childcare to 9MO, 1, 2, 3 and 4-year-olds for up to 30 hours per week during term time (38 weeks) or ‘stretched’ for 51 weeks of the year.

Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of funded, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours or additional services. Therefore, parents can expect to be charged for these at an additional cost of £1.50 per hour per funded session.

We are closed for the Christmas and New Year period, for 5 working days that you will not be invoiced for. We DO NOT charge for bank holidays.

We do offer a 7.30am start at the charge of £10.00 per session. This must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.

Deposit: Nursery – £100.00

Due upon registration and this will be refunded when your child leaves the setting.
